Booker’s Bourbon has released the second bottling in their 2021 Collection. The second is Batch 2021-02 and is known as the ‘Tagalong Batch.’ Each bourbon in this collection recalls a specific time, or memory, from the Noe family. This batch celebrates the late Master Distiller Booker Noe and the way he learned the ropes at the distillery by ‘tagging along’ with his grandfather, Jim Beam. Generation after generation would then continue to learn the trade in the same tagalong ways.
“Tagalong Batch” is released as a single barrel pick and barreled at barrel strength at 127.9 proof (63.95% ABV). Bourbon is uncut and unfiltered and was matured exactly six years and five months. The 2021-02 batch has an MSRP of $89.99 per 750-ml bottle.
