Released in 2017, with an already significant gradation of 50 degrees, this Benromach is distilled three times, one more than the usual two that practically all Scottish distilleries use as their production method. Vintage 2009, hence 7/8 years of aging.

TASTING NOTES BENROMACH TRIPLE DISTILLED
Nose: it starts with rich notes of wood, hints of vanilla and citrus, including lime and lemon. After a few moments, balsamic herbs (menthol) can be perceived as well.
Palate: releases aromas of wood and citrus (lemon), which are the undisputed protagonists, followed in the background by spicy notes of white pepper and a hint of honey.
Finale: of medium persistence. Notes of white pepper, malt and, again, citrus fruits are perceptible.
The aromatic palette, although not particularly large, is harmonious overall. Balanced.
