Arturo Fuente Opus X Fuente Fuente: the cold draw presents honey and cocoa, of grand finesse. It opens up by bringing notes of wood and undergrowth to the palette.
First third begins with notes of green pepper, wood and honey. The base is sweet and sugary notes are perceptible. Strength is medium full (4/5) and supports an intense aromatic implant.
Second third maintains the sweet base, even if slightly contained. Fine wood is accompanied by hazelnut, that are developing during the middle part. Followed by vegetal flavors. Strength stays constant.
Final third alternates between hazelnut and resin. The smoke stays slightly sweet and spicy (white pepper). Strength stays unchanged, never loosing its composure, until the last puff.
Overall, a balanced smoke from beginning to end. The aromatic palette is good and the evolution is perceptible. This Corona Gordas best characteristic is its complexity, remarkable.
