Tasting notes
Nose: Light peat, yellow fruit, citrus, lemon, cedar and white pepper. Very aromatic.
Palate: black pepper, citrus, lemon, orange and citron. Caramelized fruits. Spices. Refined.
Finsh: long. Black pepper, salt, peat and citrus.
Overall this 2001 batch is a very interesting whisky. The peat is light peat, due to the long aging. Extremely balanced and elegant.
