Aladino Maduro Corona

Aladino Maduro Corona

Aladino Maduro Corona 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

Aladino is a brand born in 2015 on the idea of Julio Eiroa, who, at the age of 77, after several decades in the tobacco sector, decided to start his own production of cigars, helped by his eldest son Justo. For this line, in particular, the filler tobaccos derive from authentic Corojo seed, while a San Andres is used for the wrapper. All cigars are sold in boxes of 20.
The Aladino Corojo Reserva Robusto in 2018 took fifth place in the Honduras Awards. Last year, the brand was recognized as the best Honduran brand (click here to read CigarsLover Magazine Winter).

Aladino Maduro Corona

Upon visual examination, it is dressed in a Maduro shaded wrapper. To the touch, it is smooth, and the filling is uniform. The cigars are slightly box-pressed.

Aladino Maduro Corona

Aladino Maduro Corona: the cold draw reveals hints of ripe fruit and vegetal notes. The opening brings a mix of spices to the palate.

Aladino Maduro Corona

The first third confirms the spicy component, and black pepper stands out. Vegetale aromas are also present, now joined by wood and nuts. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).

In the central section, the flavor profile does not show great variations: black pepper, vegetal notes, and wood alternate. During this third, a leather note appears. The smoke is now particularly creamy. Strength remains unchanged (3.5/5).

The last third sees the black pepper still as the main flavor, followed by leather and nuts. Approaching the end, balsamic notes come through, which gradually become more pronounced. The strength grows, reaching a medium-full level (4/5) and giving rise to a satisfying finish.

Overall, the Aladino Maduro Corona develops a satisfying and refined smoke, with rich and varied aromas that alternate throughout each third. The strength is proportional to the flavor profile and supports the entire smoke.
