Bolivar Petit Corona

Bolivar Petit Corona

Bolivar Petit Corona 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Bolivar Petit Corona is a mainstay of the brand’s production, despite being a small size (vitola de Galera is Mareva). It was produced well before the Castro revolution.
Although it was sold in Slide Lid Boxes of 25 and 50 count a few years ago, today it is possible to buy it only in Dress Box of 25 cigars.

Bolivar Petit Corona

It is usually dressed with a Colorado wrapper with yellow reflections, but it is not uncommon to find Colorado Maduro cigars with reddish reflections. It is pretty smooth with veins present but not very marked to the touch, and the overall construction is great.

Bolivar Petit Corona

Bolivar Petit Corona: a prominent scent of wood is perceived in the cold draw, enriched by notes of nuts and spices.

Bolivar Petit Corona

A predominant sapidity characterizes the start with a bitter vein that does not spoil the smoke on the palate. It expresses aromas of aged wood and nuts, with earthy nuances. Strength is medium (3/5).

In the central section, the initial bitterness vanishes, making room for the sapidity. The aromas see an increase in the intensity of the earth, which becomes equal to the wood. A slight cocoa hint also appears, and strength becomes medium-full (4/5).

In the final third, there are no significant variations. Sometimes, in some cigars, better structured nutty notes may appear.

In conclusion, the Bolivar Petit Corona returns a smoke typically in line with the brand: well-structured aromas and sustained strength, although this is never predominant. It is a perfect cigar for a quick after-meal smoke.
