The Epernay line is blended by Dion Giolitto, founder of Illusione Cigars. The 10 Anniversary d’Aosta is named after the wine-making region in Italy and it is also the place where Dion’s family is originally from. The smoke is exceptionally balanced and has a perfect harmony to say the least. The flavor profile is broad and the evolution pronounced. A masterpiece.
It releases cedar wood and leather, joined by hints of white pepper and vanilla. The base is honeyed. A blast of hazelnut is then followed by mineral notes. In the finale cedar wood and citrus, together with spices.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS MADE?
Among the cigars tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those that scored the best score get re-selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The test results are then compared and the TOP 5 are made.
Since 2015, CigarsLover Magazine has focused on terroirs, in order to give the right space to all the producing countries.
From 2018, the TOP 5 were paired with the TOP 50, which lists the 50 best cigars without distinction of origin. This list, together with the Best Brands, the Best Buy and the Best Boutique Brands, will be published in Winter 2019 issue of CigarsLover Magazine.
