The origins of its production date back to the pre-revolutionary period. Its main characteristic is the underlying sweetness, a distinctive feature of the Punch brand, together with a creamy and almost chewable smoke. The flavor profile is complex with a broad evolution.<\/p>\nThe opening is dominated by fine wood and citrus fruits, supported by a suave note of white pepper. Continuing, cocoa, hints of coffee, and toasted notes, the latter more present in the long finish.<\/p>\n

Among the cigars tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those that scored the best score get re-selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The test results are then compared, and the TOP 5 are made.<\/p>\n
Since 2015, CigarsLover Magazine has focused on terroirs<\/a> in order to give the right space to all the producing countries.\u00a0From 2018, the TOP 5 were paired with the TOP 50, which lists the 50 best cigars without distinction of origin.
