Trinidad Vigia

Trinidad Vigia: good notes of ripe fruit, but also more subtle nuances of wood and spices on the nose.

Trinidad Vigia

The first few puffs are dominated by a good sapidity and a quite pronounced spicy sensation. It develops notes of wood, spices and vegetable nuances. Strength is medium (3/5).

In the central third (which also becomes last, given the size) the initial spiciness subsides. It evolves towards rich nutty notes, among which the peanut stands out. Less evident wood notes and a nuance of chestnut honey follow. Strength increases slightly becoming medium – full (4/5).

In conclusion, this Trinidad Vigia differs a lot from the usual flavor profile of the brand, which is a sweet and creamy smoke. It is a strong product that will not disappoint those who are looking for “everything at once”. Flavor-wise it is convincing, with well-present and structured aromas. Strength is present but doesn’t overshadow the flavor profile. Only the first third is a little subdued, compared to a pronounced second half.
