TASTING NOTES – SÉVERIN VSOP

Nose

Scents of vanilla and raisins are perceptible, which soon give way to peanuts and spices. The spicy component becomes more and more pronounced and after a few minutes in the glass. Then, hints of milk chocolate.

Palate

The spices reach the palate first, followed by yellow fruit and intense aromas of wood. The spices are gradually increasing, culminating in hot spices.

Finish

Medium persistence. Spices and a hint of green banana are perceptible.

Overall, the Séverin Vsop is a particularly sweet and intense rum, with a finish that turns “green” and which gives rise to a decent finish.
