The Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX Robusto is produced in Nicaragua, at the “La Corona” factory. The reference to the twentieth anniversary does not refer directly to the Serino brand (which is quite young, it was in fact launched in 2016), but to the group behind the brand, which celebrated 20 years with this line.
The cigar is wrapped in a Maduro shades wrapper, that is silky to the touch. Filling is good and shows no gaps.

Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX Robusto: unlit, hints of damp earth emerge. The opening brings a blast of hot spices (chili pepper) to the palate.
The first third alternates notes of black pepper and chilli pepper, among which the damp earth already perceived in the cold draw appears as well. Strength is immediately full (4.5/5).
In the second third, the smoke turns to toasted notes of coffee and hints of herbs. Strength decreases slightly, just enough, however, to place itself within the medium – full range (4/5).
In the final third, the spicy component returns to the front, which is enriched by the appearance of nutmeg. Vegetal notes are perceptible in the background. Strength does not change, resulting in a decidedly balanced closure of the smoke.
Overall, the Serino Royale 20th Anniversary Maduro XX Robusto releases a very spicy smoke in the initial part. From the second half on, with the spices not being as pronounced, the profile becomes broader and more structured. Balance is discreet (due to the first sector), but the finish and flavor intensity are excellent.
