Owned by the Chivas Brothers, Royal Salute represents a very sought after range of products. The first 21 year was created in 1953, there have recently been added various limited products. Royal Salute was designed to celebrate the crowning of Queen Elisabeth II of England. The mission of this company is to select and blend products that have aged for at least 21 years, giving birth to new luxury products.
The 21 year we are talking about is therefor a blended whisky of 21 years of age, it is a limited edition distributed in travel retails, first in Singapore and then the rest of the world. Bottled at 40 degrees, it should be found on the market at a price of just over 100 pounds.
