Room101 The Farce Lonsdale

Room101 The Farce Lonsdale

Room101 The Farce Lonsdale 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

Room101 Farce is the line that Matt Booth launched when he returned from his short hiatus from the cigar industry. In total, four sizes are produced, including this Lonsdale. The production is entrusted to the Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic, and they are sold in 20-count boxes.

Room 101 Farce Lonsdale

It is dressed with a shiny wrapper with a slightly marbled Colorado Maduro shade. To the touch, it is pretty smooth, although some veins are still visible but not excessively. When you feel the cigar, you can sometimes perceive small gaps in the filler. The draw is slightly open, and the overall construction is decent.

  • Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
  • Size: 42 x 165 mm (6.5″)
  • Wrapper: Ecuador
  • Binder: Indonesia
  • Filler: Pennsylvania (USA), Nicaragua, Dominican Republic
  • Price: $ 9 – € 9
Room 101 Farce Lonsdale

Room101 The Farce Lonsdale: well-defined aromas that recall spices, cocoa, and hazelnut are perceived in the cold draw.

Room 101 Farce Lonsdale

Once the cigar is lit, the smoke in the mouth is distinctly sapid, with an equally intense spicy sensation. The aromas that follow one another in the first third are reminiscent of black pepper, bark, and spices, with mineral nuances. Strength is medium-full (4/5).

In the central section, a light bitter component is added to the initial sapidity. The profile turns towards cocoa aromas, preserving the notes of black pepper and bark of the first third. Strength becomes full (5/5).

In the final stretch, there are no variations in the palatal perception or strength (5/5). The sapidity fades slightly and very pronounced woody and nutty nuances appear (less marked than the former).

Ultimately, this Room101 The Farce Lonsdale presents an interesting smoke in a size that is not really “trendy”. It offers an appreciable smoking experience up to the halfway mark when the strength becomes full-bodied and overpowers the flavors. It remains a good product, engaging, and strong.
