The Room 101 Johnny Tobacconaut Robusto is one of four sizes of this limited-edition released by the Room 101 brand. It was first released in 2015, followed by another release in 2021. The latest edition was presented at PCA 2023 and arrived on the markets between August and September of last year. All three editions have different formats and blends. The latest Johny Tobacconaut was made by AJ Fernandez, based in Estelì (Nicaragua), just like the 2021 version.
The blend includes a Connecticut wrapper grown in Ecuador, a Mexican binder, and Nicaraguan filler. This edition is available in four sizes: Robusto, Toro, Gordo, and Perfecto. The Robusto, Toro, and Gordo formats are sold in boxes of 20 units. The Perfecto sizes are individually wrapped in decorative paper and sold in 10-ct boxes.
The cigar appears dressed in a shiny Colorado Claro wrapper. It is quite smooth to the touch, with barely evident veins. The construction is good, and the filling is generous.

Room 101 Johnny Tobacconaut Robusto: dry floral and citrus aromas are perceivable in the cold draw, enriched by softer hints of wood and spices.
Overall, the Room 101 Johnny Tobacconaut Robusto offers an intense and well-defined smoke with a sustained but not overwhelming strength. At times, it can also be refined, particularly in the first half. It also produces an appreciable evolution. It is too bad for the bitter note, which slightly unbalances the flavor profile from the last third onwards.
