The wrapper is of a shiny Colorado shade (sometimes also Colorado Claro) with brown reflections. To the touch, it is relatively smooth, with some small veins. Construction is excellent even if, despite the size, the filling is not very generous. However, the draw is just right.

The opening is denoted by a smoke that is sweet on the palate. The aromas are characterized by discrete woody and vegetal notes, with honey nuances. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the central section, the smoke remains sweet. The wood and the vegetal sensations are always present (the latter in a less obvious way) and are enriched with a strong note of roasted coffee and a spicy nuance. Strength remains unchanged (3/5).
In addition to the sweetness, an equal sapidity appears on the palate in the final third. On the other hand, the flavors are outlined with notes of earth and wood (of equal vigor), as well as vegetal and leather nuances. Strength increases slightly (3.5/5).
Ultimately, the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills is faithful to the brand. It has a good range of flavors, a strength well proportioned to the intensity of the aromas and, above all, a creaminess (very evident especially in the central part) almost peculiar to the cigar. Perfect after a light lunch or a heavy breakfast.
