Roma Craft Aquitaine Anthropology

Roma Craft Aquitaine Anthropology

Roma Craft Aquitaine Anthropology 800 450 Michel Arlia

The Roma Craft Aquitaine Anthropology is a cigar produced at Roma Craft’s own factory called Nica Sueño in Esteli, Nicaragua. Aquitaine refers to a place in the southwestern French region of Dordogne, were, in the 19th century, for the first time skeletal remains of our ancestors were found.

The wrapper is of a Colorado Maduro shade, that is oily and somewhat rough to the touch.

Romacraft Aquitaine Anthropology: the cold draw brings hints of earth and black pepper to the palate. The cigar starts out with spicy notes of black pepper.

The first third alternates leather, earth and cocoa, that are all supported by intense notes of black pepper. In the background, just barely perceptible, a hint of cedar. Smoke is particularly creamy and the strength is medium – full from the get go (4/5).

The second third continues with earth, spices and cedar. There is also a citrus note in the background, which gives a certain freshness to the smoke. The strength grows, almost becoming full (4.5/5).

The last third sees the return of flavors from the first third, but now the strength has gone full throttle (5/5) which makes for a satisfying finish to this cigar.

Overall, the Roma Craft Aquitaine Anthropology releases intense flavors. Very creamy and satisfied, with a very long finish. While the evolution is not the strongest point of this cigar: there is some movement, but the flavor profile is almost unchanged from the beginning to the end.
