Rey Saladin Short Robusto: the cold draw reveals aromas of hay and spices. Once the cigar is lit, it opens with a mix of spices and floral notes.
The first half continues on the mix of spices, black pepper, and cardamom, followed by mineral and floral notes. Strength is medium (3/5).
There is not much changing in the flavor profile in the second half, except that the cigar becomes slightly bitter. Strength stays unchanged.
Overall, the Rey Saladin Short Robusto is rather linear smoke. The flavors are few, but they are well outline. The bitter note overpowers the flavor profile in most puffs, which makes for an unbalanced second half.
