TASTING NOTES RAGNAUD SABOURIN VSOP

Nose

fresh, with notes of sweet apples, orange marmalade and honey. There are also hints of precious woods and, oak spices.

Palate

good arrival, good mouthfeel. It delivers aromas of raisins, ripe tropical fruit, marmalade and honey, together with vanilla and wood spice. Little lightweight, it is a bit dry. The base is mineral.

Finish

medium persistence. More raisins. There is also a note of burnt matches. It gets very dry. Tannins, wood bitterness.

Overall, the Ragnaud Sabourin VSOP is a nice cognac, a litto too shy to the nose, but enjoyable to the palate. It is definitely a quality VSOP.

  • If you wan to takes my advice, then I would suggest you drink this wine with the best Cuban cigar that you can get your hands on. This is the perfect pairing for the wine.
