Quesada inaugurates the New Year with a new line: Quesada Oro Dominicana. This line is available in Connecticut and Maduro.
Oro Dominicana Connecticut is dressed up with an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. The binder is from the Dominican Republic and the filler is a mix of Dominican and Nicaragua leaves.
Four are the sizes:
- Robusto – 50 x 127 mm (5″)
- Toro – 54 x 152 mm (6″)
- Torpedo – 54 x 152 mm (6″)
- Churchill – 54 x 178 mm (7″)
Prices will vary from $ 6,90 to $ 7,95.
Oro Dominicana Maduro is made with a Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Binder and filler are Dominican. Also the Maduro version will feature four formats, but they are different from the Connecticut line: the four Maduro, except for the Toro, have a bigger ring gauge.

All the tobacco leaves used for the Oro line are aged for five years. Both Connecticut and Maduro, made in the Quesada Cigars factory in Licey (Dominican Republic), will be available in 21 count boxes.
