The Quai d’Orsay No. 52 was introduced four years after the redesign of the Quai d’Orsay brand. It was not until the beginning of 2023 that the new cigar appeared on shelf around the world.
The No. 52 is an addition to the new sizes, the No. 50 and 54 and is sold in the same packaging as the other. Namely, either a 10-ct or 25-ct semi boite nature box.
The wrapper is of an oily Colorado hue that is smooth to the touch. Construction is good, and the filling is generous.

The Quai d’Orsay No. 52: The cold draw brings aromas of clean tobacco and wood to the palate. Once lit, it opens with woody and nutty aromas.
The wood and nuts, mainly hazelnut, carry over into the first third, joined by a sweet creamy note. The strength is medium (3/5).
A herbal aroma is added in the second third. The wood and hazelnut are still the dominant flavors. Strength remains unchanged.
The flavor profile becomes more pronounced in the last third, but there are no changes in terms of aromas. Strength remains a solid medium.
Overall, the Quai d’Orsay No. 52 is a balanced and smooth smoke. It is already very approachable and can be smoked any time of the day. The only downside is the evolution throughout the smoke, which is a bit lacking.
