The Principal Cigars Aviator Envoy is a cigar produced in the Dominican Republic, in the “Kelner Boutique Factory”. The mastermind behind this project is that of Darren Cioffi, who developed these cigars with Hendrik Kelner Jr., son of the well-known Henke Kelner, a prominent character of the Davidoff brand. This line belongs to Principle Cigars, and the Envoy is the Robusto size. Currently, the line is made up of a total of five cigars.
Aesthetically, the cigars are dressed in a Colorado Maduro shaded wrapper leaf. There are to bands present: the first, bearing the metal colored logo of the brand, the second, which wraps and protects the foot, in satin bearing the name of the line. The construction is flawless.

Principle Cigars The Aviator Envoy: unlit, hints of cocoa. The opening confirms the cocoa, supported by major spicy notes.
The first third reveals aromas of seasoned wood, cocoa and spices (white pepper stands out), which culminate into hot spices in the aftertaste. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).
In the second third we continue on with spices, mainly white pepper, which are followed by toasted notes of coffee and earth. Strength increases slightly, just enough, however, to reach a medium-full level (4/5).
The final third turns to intense earthy notes. The spices are now less pronounced, but remain present in the aftertaste. Strength remains constant (4/5) and the finish is very balanced and controlled.
Overall, the Principle Cigars The Aviator Envoy releases a smoke of good flavor intensity. The evolution is rather linear and the profile is not the broadest. However, it boasts an excellent balance, from the first to the last puff.
