The Platinum Nova brand was launched, for the first time, at the 2019 IPCPR, and in addition to the numerous references per line, they also presented a couple of limited editions, such as this Corona. This product, in particular, is sold in 12-ct boxes.
The cigar is dressed in a shiny Colorado-Maduro wrapper with brown reflections. It is very smooth to the touch with slightly marked veins. The head of the cigar is finished with a pigtail. The overall construction is great, as is the draw.

Platinum Nova Corona Limited Edition: unlit, the cigar reveals aromas of wood, white pepper, and coffee, all of the same intensity.
The first third brings a rather sweet smoke to the palate with a sapid undertone and expresses aromas of wood and nuts. Later, a powerful vegetal note emerges, and the strength is medium-light (2/5).
In the central section, the sapidity becomes equal to the sweetness. The aromas partially confirm the notes of the first third, mainly the wood, and nuts, but instead of the powerful vegetal vein, there is a nuance of white pepper. Strength increases, becoming medium (3/5).
In the final third, the sweetness disappears, and alongside the well-defined sapidity, a bitter vein appears that is not too evident and does not unbalance the profile. It expresses white pepper and wood aromas of medium intensity and nuances of cellulose. Strength remains unchanged (3/5).
Overall, this Platinum Nova Corona Limited Edition offers a simple yet significant smoke. The aromas are well distributed throughout the smoke and are, thanks to the contained strength, easy to read. It suffers from a somewhat limited evolution between the first and second third.
