Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut Epicure

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut Epicure

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut Epicure 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne owes its name to the special process used to age the wrapper leaves. The Connecticut Shade grown in Ecuador is placed in ex-Bourbon barrels, giving the peculiar golden hue, hence the name champagne. The 10th Anniversary is offered in Connecticut, Sun Grown, and Maduro versions. Depending on the line chosen, the sizes differ from each other. All cigars are sold in 25 count boxes.

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut Epicure: unlit, hints of wood and black pepper. The first puffs reveal toasted notes of nuts, where hazelnut stands out, and cedarwood.

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut Epicure3

The first third releases notes of cedarwood and a major hint of citrus, which refreshes the smoke and has a remarkably long finish. In the background, there is also a slight spicy component present but barely hinted at. The puffs are creamy and refined. Strength stands at a medium level (3/5).

In the central section, the citrus aroma is confirmed, now supported by earth and cedarwood. The spices become more marked while remaining perceptible in the aftertaste. Strength grows slightly (3.5/5).

In the final third, a blast of citrus fruits, ripe fruit, and white pepper are released. There is also an earthy component still present, as well as hints of cocoa. Strength grows further, reaching a medium-full level and satisfyingly closing the smoke.

Overall, the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Epicure releases a smoke with a broad and pronounced flavor profile. Said profile is also refined, despite having a considerable intensity. Complex and with a particularly satisfying finish.
