The Nestor Miranda Habano Corona Gorda belongs to the collection that replaced the Nestor Miranda Special Selection line. The new Nestor Miranda cigars are sold with different bands, which can be identified by color: Habano (green), Connecticut (blue) and Maduro (red). The cigars are produced by the Garcia family, in the My Father Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Aesthetically, the cigars are dressed in a Colorado Maduro shaded wrapper leaf, with reddish reflections. The band is particular and stands out, giving a sort of three-dimensional effect. The filling shows no gaps and is uniform.

Nestor Miranda Habano Corona Gorda: light earthy notes are perceptible in the cold draw. Once lit, it releases a mix of nuts, where hazelnut stands out.
The first third alternates notes of earth, hazelnut and spices, composed of a mix of black pepper and hot spices. Strength is already a medium-full (4/5).
In the central part, the perceptible aromas are earth and spices, the latter is particularly pronounced, to the point of covering the rest of the flavor profile in some puffs. Strength gradually becomes fuller (4.5/5) and as you approach the last third, the balance is on the razors edge.
The flavor profile does not show particular changes compared to the previous third. Strength remains constant (4.5/5).
Overall, the Nestor Miranda Habano Corona Gorda gives off a particularly masculine smoke with a fairly broad flavor profile. The strength is pronounced and, in some passages, the cigar shows an imbalance, due to the intense spicy notes that tend to dominate the remaining flavors. Satisfying.
