TASTING NOTES – MATUSALEM 23 YEARS OLD GRAN RESERVA

Nose

Scents of caramel, vanilla, and sweet spices are enriched by suave balsamic herbs. Then notes of chestnut and honey. A touch of cocoa, and a mix of nuts.

Palate

Sweet and spicy, with notes of white pepper together with some chili pepper peaks. There are also caramel and balsamic herbs. Then, a honey note completes the flavor profile.

Finish

Medium-long persistence. Spices, wood, and balsamic herbs. A bit on the dry side.

Overall, the Matusalem 23 Years Old is an intense rum, equipped with a good persistence. It is rather sweet and very easy to enjoy.
