Lochside 1981 The Nectar of Daily Drams is a whisky distilled in 1981 and bottled after 29 years of aging. Established in 1781 for the production of beer and converted into a whisky distillery in 1957 by the hand of Joseph Hobbs. Today the distillery no longer exists, having been dismantled in 2005. TASTING NOTES – LOCHSIDE 1981 THE NECTAR OF DAILY DRAMS
Overall, Lochside 1981 The Nectar of Daily Drams is endowed with a flavor profile of good complexity and structure, although the balance of this whisky is not particularly marked. The nose is at times almost pungent, despite the 29 years of age. The alcoholic component, although not particularly pronounced, is perceptible.
