Laura Chavin Concours Box

Laura Chavin has announced the addition of two new sizes to their Concours line: a 43 x 140mm (5.5″) Corona and a 51 x 105mm (4.1″) Perfecto. The Concours was already revived in the 2019 edition, with which the cigar company Willi Knopf ushered in a new era for Laura Chavin, with two sizes: a 56 x 115mm (4.5″) Robusto and a 48 x 170mm (6.7″) Diadema.

“The tobaccos have chosen their formats,” report Laura Chavin’s master blenders in a press release. After all, they didn’t want to force them into predetermined formats. Rather, Laura Chavin attaches great importance to a perfect balance, ultimately determining the ring gauge, shape, and length. A method as extraordinary as the brand itself.

Concours des Meilleurs Connaisseurs, which is the full name of the line, loosely translates to “competition of the best connoisseurs”. The blend is entirely made up of Dominican tobacco. The two new sizes are both going to retail for € 16.
