Since 2014, Crowned Heads released Las Calaveras every year, making the 2020 the 7th version (here some details about the most recent releases, the 2019 and 2018). Las Calaveras, in Spanish, means “the skulls” and it is referred to the “dias de muertos”, “the day of the dead”, and it is a very popular and known holiday celebrated in Mexico.
Las Calaveras 2020 will be released on July 1st.
Production will be 1.000 boxes per size. The blend is made of an Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan filler. The four sizes will be:
- LC48: 48 x 140 mm (5.5″) – $10.95, 24-count box
- LC52: 52 x 127 mm (5″) – $11.95, 24-count box
- LC56: 56 x 152 mm (6″) – $12.95, 24-count box
- Torpedo: 52 x 156 mm (6.1″) – only available in a sampler of 4 cigars, sold for $ 49.95 (only 500 samples will be made).
