Lagavulin Offerman Edition - Guinness cask finish

Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Nick Offerman are introducing Lagavulin Offerman Edition: Guinness Cask Finish. It is a limited edition that is about an 11 years old Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished for four months in barrels that previously held Guinness Beer from the Open Gate Brewery in Maryland. This is the second limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky created collaboratively by Offerman and Lagavulin.

It is described as “a glorious adventure in sweet peat through the combination of the intense peat and charred wood notes of Lagavulin with the roasted coffee, dark chocolate and sweet caramel notes from the Guinness casks.”

It is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) with an SRP of $79.99. The making is in the newest video in the ongoing Lagavulin: My Tales of Whisky series, Nick Offerman’s Father’s Day Part 5.
