La Aurora Cigars will showcase their new Especiales line at the TPE trade show in Las Vegas. This new line is the result of La Aurora working together with circa 100 retailers which, on their visits to La Aurora’s factory in the Dominican Republic, smoked various test blends.
The blend uses an Ecuadorian Cameroon-seed wrapper over a Dominican binder and a mix of Dominican and U.S. filler tobacco. The line will be sold in four sizes:
- La Aurora Especiales Corona Gorda, 47 x 152mm (6″)
- La Aurora Especiales Gran Toro, 58 x 152mm (6″)
- La Aurora Especiales Robusto, 50 x 127mm (5″)
- La Aurora Especiales Gran Toro,58 x 152mm (6″)
Production is limited to 1,000 twenty-count boxes per size. Retail price ranges from $12-14 depending on the size chosen.
