HIGHLAND PARK 15 YO

On the nose: a rich malt aroma, accompanied by spices and chestnut honey. There are also marine hints.
On the palate: particularly sweet. It gives off spicy and citrus (orange peel) notes. The honey is still well perceivable.
Finish: sweet. Fine spices, wood and herbs (medicinal).

CIGAR PAIRING

Alec Bradley Black Market Robusto: structured pairing and not among the simplest, due to the aromatic palette of the two products. Cigar and whiskey have a common line: the sweetness. The combination get developed on that: the fine spices of the Highland Park encounter the cinnamon and the piquant spices of the Robusto. The almond and leather notes from the Black Market are refreshen up from the orange peel delivered by the whiskey. What gives more pleasure, however, is the aftertaste: the herbs from the whiskey blend together with those of the cigar, developing a refreshing and very long aftertaste.
