TASTING NOTES – GLENMORANGIE THE TAYNE

Nose

To the nose it delivers rich scents of candied apricot, together with ripe fruit and vanilla, all accompanied by a slightly spicy vein of white pepper.

Palate

Oily and honeyed, with notes of white pepper, dried fruit (mainly candied apricot) and a mineral touch to it. Hints of red fruit are also perceivable.

Finish

Persistence is medium. It delivers notes of white pepper, honey and red fruits.

Overall, the Glenmorangie The Tayne is a Scotch whiskey very easy to appreciate and to drink, thanks to the low alcohol content and also to limited complexity.
