Cohiba Espléndidos Gran Reserva Cosecha 2017

The La Casa del Habano franchises in Germany have started selling the latest Gran Reserva cigar from Habanos S.A., the Cohiba Espléndidos Gran Reserva Cosecha 2017. In Germany, the cigar is priced at €540 per cigar or €8,100 per box of 15 (prices may vary in other countries).

Like other Gran Reserva cigars, and as the word Cosecha suggests (Spanish for harvest), all the tobaccos come from a specific harvest. As you can guess, the year of the harvest for the tobaccos used for the Espléndidos comes from 20217 and were aged for at least five years before the cigars were rolled. The Gran Reserva cigars are the same size as their regular production counterparts. The Espléndidos measures 47 x 178 mm (7″).

In addition to the difference in tobacco, the Gran Reserva cigars have different packaging: a black and gold secondary band with a G and R is added to the cigars, which are then packaged in glossy boxes of 15 cigars. Like other Gran Reservas, production is limited to 5,000 numbered boxes worldwide.
