The El Rey del Mundo Royal Series was announced in 2022 and released at an event in Cyprus in late 2023.
The Dobles vitola is sold exclusively in La Casa del Habano stores and are packaged in luxury boite nature boxes containing 20 cigars.
The cigar is dressed in a smooth Colorado-colored wrapper, with only a few small veins present. The construction is good, but the draw is a bit on the tighter side.

El Rey del Mundo Royal Series: the cold draw reveals aromas of clean tobacco. Once lit, it brings notes of cappuccino and hazelnut to the palate.
Further into the first third, aromas of wood and herbs are added. There is also a subtle sweetness perceivable in the background. The strength is medium-light (2/3).
The second third is a continuation of the previous one, both in terms of flavors and strength.
The flavor profile is confirmed also in the last third, with the only addition being a light spicy nuance. Strength grows to a solid medium (3/5).
Overall, the El Rey del Mundo Royal Series is a smooth smoke, with a well-defined flavor profile. Unfortunately, it lacks a bit in terms of evolution throughout the whole experience.
