The Doorly’s 12 Year Old is rum made in Barbados, distilled at Foursquare. The rum is aged for 12 years and this version has been bottled at a higher strength (43% ABV) than usual. As usual, on the label art there is a The the iconic Macaw bird, that changes differs by using a different breed, for every bottling.

TASTING NOTES – DOORLY’S 12 YEARS OLD
Nose
At first, caramel and toffee scents are the undisputed protagonists. Then green tea and vegetable notes emerge as well. Lastly, a touch of orange zest.
Palate
Wood spices and milk chocolate aromas are enriched by intense roasted notes of coffee beans. Sweet and round.
Finish
Medium persistence. A very intense aroma of sugared almonds is delivered, then a subtle hint of almond, slightly bitter.
Overall, the Doorly’s 12 Year Old is a very easy to drink rum, due to its ABV and also to its flavor profile, sweet and round. A nice rum from Barbados.
