The Cohiba Riviera Lancero is one of the cigars of the homonymous line produced by STG. The Riviera line was presented to the public in 2023 with the first three formats and was the first of the non-Cuban brand Cohiba to be box-pressed.
During the PCA 2024, the Lancero was presented and reached the markets starting last May. The blend of the Riviera line consists of Honduran tobaccos (grown in the Jamastran Valley and La Entrada) and Nicaraguan (Condega and Estelì) for the filler, held together by a Honduran binder obtained from Connecticut seed, adorned with a Mexican San Andres wrapper. The manufacturing is entrusted to the STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua.
The cigars are sold in 15-count boxes, with the cigars arranged transversally to the opening direction of the box.
The cigar comes dressed in a slightly opaque wrapper in a Colorado Maduro shade with brown highlights. It is silky to the touch with barely noticeable veins. The construction and draw are good.

Cohiba Riviera Lancero: hints of earth and wood are perceptible in the cold draw, enriched by spicy nuances.
Overall, the Cohiba Riviera Lancero offers a very interesting smoke, made so by a complex profile and notable intensity. Although not contained, the strength supports the entire smoke without overwhelming the flavor profile. A slight astringency is noted at the end.
