Cavalier Cigars will be presenting two new cigars at this years PCA. The first one goes by the name Prospektor, which in the past was a retailer exclusive cigar. This year’s version will feature a new blend and debut in a single 54 x 152mm (6″) Toro size. Blend details are namely fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua and Paraguay and a Nicaraguan Habano binder. The cigar will be wrapped in two Nicaraguan Jalapa Viso leaf, creating a barber pole.

Suggested retail price is $11.40 per single cigar and they are sold in 40-ct boxes, with the option for retailers to order 20-ct refill bundles. While it will be showcased at the PCA this year, the Prospektor won’t ship until later this year.

The second cigar revealed at the tradeshow is Cavalier’s Limited Edition, which will be the same size as last year, a 54 x 152mm (6″) Toro, but this year’s Limited Edition will be round and not box-pressed. The blend is still not disclosed, but what is known is that a total of 1,650 10-ct boxes have been produced. Retail price is $12 per single cigar.
