TASTING NOTES ARDBEG CORRYVRECKAN
Nose: the aromas are pronounced and immediately it delivers intense peaty ntoes, together with spices (black pepper). Marine hints are perceptible as well. Then the bouquet turns to scents of vanilla and citrus (lemon and cedar).
Palate: very intense. A mix of black and white pepper is immediately developed, flanked by cinnamon. Then it is the time of rich notes of peat and citrus. Lastly, hard boiled egg and once again, marine hints.
Finish: long persistency. Peat, black pepper, spices and citrus.
This is a whiskey that speaks about Islay island. The sweetness of the hills combined with the power of the sea. The intensity is also guaranteed by the high alcoholic content. Structured and intense. Explosive.
