Alec Bradley Cigars has announced a new product called Safe Keepings. This new brand is an old blend that was never used before. According to Alec Bradley’s founder’s blend book, this blend was revived following its recipe. Safe Keepings is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. It has a Nicaraguan, Habano-seed wrapper and binder and a filler combination of Criollo ’98 tobacco from Jalapa, Estelí, and Condega.
Bradley Rubin, Alec Bradley’s brand ambassador, explained that they opened the blend book and thoroughly analyzed the blend recipes inside. Alec Bradley Safe Keepings honors the brand’s blend legacy while giving them access to resources they never had before.
Alec Bradley Safe Keepings comes in four sizes:
- Corona, 46 x 136 mm(5 3/8″), $10.49 per cigar
- Gordo, 60 x 152 mm (6″), $15.19 per cigar
- Robusto, 52 x 127 mm (5″), $12.29 per cigar
- Toro, 52 x 152 mm (6″), $13.89 per cigar
All cigars are produced at Oliva’s Tabolisa factory in Nicaragua and are sold in 24-count boxes. They are expected to be shipped to retailers by June.
