Alec Bradley American Classic Blend Toro: before lighting the cigar up floral hints can be perceived, while the first draws are nutty.

In the first third nuts are still present, with distant piquant notes. Moving on into the smoke almond flavors are taking over, with a slightly bitter note and a woody hint. The body is mild to medium (2,5/5).

In the second third the same fragrances which were evident in the end of the previous one are still represented: wood and almond become more pronounced and in the end leathery notes appear. Strength increase slightly (3/5).

In the final third the cigar changes into more herbal notes, alternating with leathery tastes. The finish reminds of white pepper. Body is still medium (3/5).

The American Classic Toro is not outstanding in terms of evolution, since during the entire smoke light aromas of bitter almond can be perceived, coupled with slightly acidic notes, which are not helping the performances of the leaves used in the blend. The aromas result in being balanced, but not intense and rich. The cigar burns unevenly at the beginning, but corrects itself moving on, without the need for active corrections. Ash is compact and falls off only when the cigar is half through. After-smoke persistency is light, with mainly herbal flavors.
