TASTING NOTES – 963 8 YEAR OLD BLENDED MALT
Nose
Floral scents and a rich apple note, are followed by cocoa and a touch of spices. There are some smoky nuances as well.
Palate
Fruity notes, among which apricot and apple stand out. Then some nutty aromas, mainly walnut. Rich and round.
Finish
Medium-long persistence. Notes of wood spices and wood. A fruity touch.
Overall, the 963 8 Year Old Blended Malt is an interesting Japanese whiskey. It is very rich and the flavor profile is well structured. Due to the high ABV, a couple of drops of water will make it easier to appreciate.
