7-20-4 Robusto

7-20-4 Robusto

7-20-4 Robusto 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

The 7-20-4 brand boasts a long history, dating back to 1874, which was then interrupted in 1963, following the Cuban embargo which made it no longer possible to attain the raw materials to create these cigars. In 2006 the brand was brought back to life by a great enthusiast, collector and owner of a cigar store, namely Kurt Kendall.

7-20-4 Robusto

Aesthetically, the cigars are dressed in a Colorado shaded wrapper, that is silky to the touch. The filling is flawless.

7-20-4 Robusto

7-20-4 Robusto: the cold draw reveals hints of earth. Once lit, the cigar brings vegetal notes to the palate, which make their way onto an acidic base.

7-20-4 Robusto

The first thrid alternates vegetal and nutty aromas, where the hazelnut stands out. Strength stands at a solid medium (3/5).

In the second third, the hazelnut and the vegetal notes remain well present, now enriched by earthy nuances, which gradually become more pronounced. Strength increases slightly (3.5/5).

In the last third, earth and vegetal notes alternate. Strength remains constant until the end of the smoke (3.5/5).

Overall, the 7-20-4 Robusto releases a smoke with a good intensity. The flavor profile, however, is rather contained and paired with a linear evolution.
