TASTING NOTES LIDDESDALE RELEASE NO.10 ADELPHI
Nose: aging in Sherry is very evident, but does not hide the character of the spirit. From red fruits, cherries and sour cherries, then spices and candied fruit, up to a grilled meat note. Vanilla, caramel and black pepper complete the palate after a few minutes.
Palate: the intensity is limited. The fruity part stands out in the foreground, with notes of apple, strawberry and cherry, all supported by sweet aromas of white pepper and red fruits. Very round.
Finish: medium-full intensity. Black pepper and sherry tannins develop, followed by red fruits, vanilla and cherry.
The rather dark color of the Liddesdale Release No.10 Adelphi predicted a rather long aging in Sherry barrels that, however, did not exasperate an excellent spirit in itself. The flavor profile is broad and has a good intensity.
