Tasting Notes HIGHLAND PARK 12 YO VIKING HONOUR
Nose: easy. A sherried influence, together with dried fruits and a winey touch. Note of orange jam and bonfire.
Nose: it is simple, with aromas that recall the Sherry influence, composed of fruit and a touch of wine liqueur. Palate: there is also orange marmalade, along with honey and hints of bonfires. Palate: slightly sweet. There is also a slight smoked component, as well as a hints of brine.
Finish: of medium persistence. Finish: pretty dry. Herbal notes, ash and burnt wood.
Overall, the Highland Park 12 yo Viking Honor is a whisky that is easy to drink, balanced and has a fairly low intensity. A decent product, recommended especially for those who want to explore the world of whisky.
