Chivas Brothers launch the Secret Speyside Collection

Chivas Brothers launch the Secret Speyside Collection 800 450 Federico Bosco

Chivas Brother, part of the Pernod Ricard group dedicated to Scotch whisky, announced the launch of 15 different bottlings from 4 distilleries belonging to the group: Secret Speyside Collection. The distilleries are from the Speyside area, little known and rarely the protagonists of major releases: Caperdonich, Braes of Glenlivet (until 1994 Braeval), Longmorn and Glen Keith. The bottlings provide different release times, so they will not be available at the same time (see in detail the bottles with the estimated prices in dollars). After a year of running time, from July 2019 to July 2020, the collection will enter all the markets where Chivas Brothers is present.

Caperdonich and Braes of Glenlivet are no longer operational, so these bottles are an opportunity to drink a spirit from a closed distillery, with an eye towards collectors of memorabilia.

  • Caperdonich 18 Year Old Peated: 48%, American Oak Barrels, $130
  • Caperdonich 21 Year Old Peated: 48%, American Oak Barrels, $290
